Questions, answered
Everything you need to know about residential, ISP and datacenter proxies and how Prism works.
What is the difference between residential, ISP and datacenter proxies?
Residential proxies use real home internet connections and are billed by the GB, which makes them the most flexible and the hardest to tell from ordinary visitors. ISP proxies are static, dedicated IPs hosted on internet-provider networks: fast, stable and yours alone, billed monthly. Datacenter proxies are dedicated IPs on server networks: the fastest and the most affordable, best for volume and speed.
How quickly do I get my proxies?
Straight after your payment is confirmed. Your proxies and login details appear in your dashboard, ready to generate and export. There is no manual setup and no waiting for a person.
Which countries and cities can I use?
Residential proxies cover 200+ countries and 25,000+ cities, with 1,200+ cities and 170+ networks in the UK alone. ISP and datacenter proxies are available in the UK and the US.
Can I choose a UK city or a specific internet provider?
Yes. When you generate your list for residential proxies you can choose the country, the city and the internet provider (network) you want, then export it in the format your tool needs.
What are rotating and sticky sessions?
A rotating session gives you a different IP address on each request. A sticky session keeps the same IP for a set time, which suits tasks that need to look like one continuous visitor. You choose per list in your dashboard.
How does billing work?
Residential proxies are pay-per-GB: buy data, use it, and top up whenever you like. Your data stays valid for 365 days and there is no monthly contract. ISP and datacenter proxies are billed monthly (30 days) with optional auto-renew. Prices are in pounds, and you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe.
Do you offer refunds?
Our refund policy sets out exactly when refunds apply and the rights you have under UK law. Please read it before you buy: Refund Policy.
